About the Alpine A390
The Alpine A390 is the brand's larger electric crossover, sitting above the A290 hot hatch in the range. Built on Renault Group's AmpR Medium platform, it uses an 89 kWh NMC battery pack and offers dual-motor all-wheel drive in its range-topping configuration, producing up to 340 bhp.
Positioned as a performance-oriented GT crossover, the A390 combines long-distance touring ability with Alpine's sporting DNA. DC fast charging at up to 150 kW means a 10–80% top-up in around 30 minutes, while the WLTP range of 340–380 miles makes it a genuine long-distance proposition.
The chassis features adaptive dampers and a torque-vectoring system derived from Alpine's motorsport expertise. Inside, the cabin blends sporty design with premium materials and a large-format infotainment system. It competes directly with the Tesla Model Y Performance and Polestar 3 in the premium electric crossover space.
