e-tron estimated average
These curves are aggregated, owner-reported degradation data — not official manufacturer figures. Your own result above is the number that matters.
Wh/mi or Wh/km
On the MMI touchscreen, go to "Vehicle" → "Efficiency" (or "Driving Data"). Average consumption in kWh/100 km or Wh/mi is displayed in the trip computer. On e-tron models, swipe to the "e-tron" tab for detailed energy stats.
Estimated Range
Estimated range is shown in the Virtual Cockpit (digital instrument cluster) and also under "Vehicle" → "Charging" → "Range" in the MMI.
Battery Percentage
Battery percentage is displayed in the Virtual Cockpit next to the range, and in the top status bar of the MMI screen.

About the Audi e-tron
The Audi e-tron was one of the first premium electric SUVs when it launched in 2019, competing directly with the Jaguar I-PACE and later the Mercedes EQC. Built on Audi's MLB evo platform (adapted from combustion vehicles), it offered a reassuringly conventional luxury SUV experience at a time when most EVs felt like radical departures from the norm.
Available with 64.7 kWh (50 quattro) and 86.5 kWh (55 quattro) batteries, the e-tron's range was its biggest weakness — the 86.5 kWh version managed just 258 miles WLTP, with real-world figures closer to 200-220 miles. The significant battery buffer (Audi used only about 83% of the gross capacity) was designed to protect long-term battery health, and this approach has paid off with strong degradation data from early models.
DC charging at up to 150 kW was competitive at launch but has since been surpassed. The driving experience is comfortable and refined, with excellent build quality and a hushed cabin. Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive system provides confident traction in all conditions.
Production ended in 2023 when the Q8 e-tron replaced it. As a used buy, the e-tron offers considerable luxury for the money, though the limited range may deter buyers who regularly cover long distances.
What the press thinks
The original e-tron was praised for feeling like a proper Audi rather than a compromised EV experiment. Build quality, ride comfort, and refinement were consistently highlighted. The limited range and high energy consumption were the main criticisms throughout its production run.
