How to find these values on your Audi

Wh/mi or Wh/km

On the MMI touchscreen, go to "Vehicle" → "Efficiency" (or "Driving Data"). Average consumption in kWh/100 km or Wh/mi is displayed in the trip computer. On e-tron models, swipe to the "e-tron" tab for detailed energy stats.

Estimated Range

Estimated range is shown in the Virtual Cockpit (digital instrument cluster) and also under "Vehicle" → "Charging" → "Range" in the MMI.

Battery Percentage

Battery percentage is displayed in the Virtual Cockpit next to the range, and in the top status bar of the MMI screen.

About the Audi Q8 e-tron

The Audi Q8 e-tron is the significantly updated successor to Audi's original e-tron SUV, which launched in 2019 as one of the first luxury electric SUVs on the market. The 2023 refresh brought larger battery options (89 kWh and 106 kWh usable), improved efficiency, updated styling, and the Q8 name to align with Audi's naming convention.

With the 106 kWh battery, the Q8 e-tron offers up to 361 miles WLTP range — a substantial improvement over the original e-tron's figures. DC charging at up to 170 kW allows a 10-80% charge in around 31 minutes. The active liquid cooling system maintains consistent charging speeds and supports long-term battery health.

The Q8 e-tron is available as a standard SUV or a Sportback (coupe-SUV) variant. All versions feature Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive system. The S line variants use three motors for a total of 503 bhp and a torque-vectoring rear axle for genuinely engaging handling from a large SUV.

Build quality is superb, the cabin is spacious and beautifully finished, and the ride is refined. It's not as efficient as some competitors built on dedicated EV platforms, but the combination of luxury, capability, and Audi's build quality makes it a compelling choice in the premium large electric SUV segment.

What the press thinks

The Q8 e-tron is praised for its refined driving experience, luxurious interior, and improved range over the original e-tron. Reviewers note it feels more like a traditional luxury SUV than a tech-focused EV, which will appeal to many buyers. Criticisms include the 170 kW charging limit and higher energy consumption compared to platform-native EV competitors.
