About the Citroën ë-C3 Aircross
The Citroën ë-C3 Aircross takes the affordable EV formula of the ë-C3 and adds the raised ride height and extra space that family buyers want. Available with 43.8 kWh or 53.5 kWh LFP batteries, it offers more range than its hatchback sibling while remaining firmly in budget territory.
The SUV body brings genuine practical benefits — a taller roofline means easier child-seat installation, and the boot is noticeably larger than the ë-C3's. An optional third row of seats makes it one of the most affordable seven-seat EVs on the market, though the rearmost seats are strictly for children.
Like the ë-C3, it uses LFP battery chemistry from CATL, which can be charged to 100% daily without concern. DC charging at 100 kW keeps rapid-charging stops to around 28 minutes. The ë-C3 Aircross will not set any performance records, but as a practical, affordable family EV, it occupies a segment that very few rivals have managed to address at this price.
What the press thinks
The press sees the ë-C3 Aircross as a smart family proposition at a budget price. The optional seven seats and LFP battery are praised. Criticisms include the basic interior finish and the fact that motorway range is limited with the smaller battery.
