How to find these values on your Mercedes-Benz

Wh/mi or Wh/km

On the MBUX display, navigate to "Vehicle" → "EQ" → "Energy Flow" (or "Consumption"). Average consumption in kWh/100 km or Wh/mi is displayed. On models with the MBUX Hyperscreen, swipe to the energy consumption widget.

Estimated Range

Estimated range is shown on the instrument cluster (digital display) and in the MBUX "EQ" → "Range" section, which also shows range by driving mode.

Battery Percentage

Battery percentage is displayed on the instrument cluster next to the range, on the MBUX home screen, and in the EQ menu.

About the Mercedes-Benz EQE

The Mercedes-Benz EQE is the electric equivalent of the E-Class — a luxury saloon built on Mercedes' dedicated EVA2 platform. With a 90.6 kWh usable battery, it offers up to 394 miles WLTP range in its most efficient configuration, making it one of the longest-range EVs in its segment.

The EQE's aerodynamic shape (Cd of just 0.22) contributes to excellent motorway efficiency. DC charging at up to 170 kW allows a 10-80% charge in around 32 minutes. The optional MBUX Hyperscreen — a single piece of glass spanning the entire dashboard with three integrated displays — is one of the most striking interior features of any modern car.

Available in 350+, 500 4MATIC, and AMG 53 configurations, the EQE covers everything from refined cruising to serious performance. The AMG variant produces 626 bhp and reaches 62 mph in 3.3 seconds. All versions benefit from excellent noise insulation, a supple ride, and Mercedes' well-developed driver assistance systems.

The EQE is not the most exciting car to drive in its class — the BMW i5 is more engaging through corners — but for those who prioritise comfort, refinement, and effortless long-distance capability, it sets a high standard.

What the press thinks

The EQE is praised for exceptional refinement, outstanding range, and the optional Hyperscreen's visual impact. Reviewers note it prioritises comfort over driving engagement, and the price can escalate quickly with options. The aerodynamic shape means the boot opening is somewhat restricted.
