About the Citroën ë-SpaceTourer
The Citroën ë-SpaceTourer is a large electric MPV that can seat up to eight or nine passengers depending on configuration. Available in two lengths (M and XL) and with either a 50 kWh or 75 kWh NMC battery, it serves a very specific need — zero-emission people carrying at scale.
The 75 kWh battery delivers a WLTP range of up to 230 miles, which drops to around 185 miles in real-world driving. The smaller 50 kWh option manages roughly 143 miles WLTP, making it more suited to shorter urban shuttle duties. DC charging at 100 kW is adequate given the use case, though a full rapid charge on the larger battery takes longer than a smaller-batteried EV.
The ë-SpaceTourer shares its platform with the Peugeot e-Traveller, Vauxhall Vivaro-e Life, and Toyota Proace Electric Verso. Its cabin is vast and configurable, with individual rear seats that can slide, fold, or be removed entirely. For hotels, taxi operators, or large families needing a zero-emission shuttle, there is essentially no alternative at this size.
