Born estimated average
These curves are aggregated, owner-reported degradation data — not official manufacturer figures. Your own result above is the number that matters.

About the CUPRA Born
The CUPRA Born takes the VW ID.3's MEB platform and injects it with proper sporting character. Firmer suspension, quicker steering, a lower ride height, and CUPRA's distinctive copper-accented design give it an identity the ID.3 sometimes lacks.
Available with 59 kWh or 79 kWh batteries, the range spans 211–372 miles WLTP. The 79 kWh e-Boost version is the sweet spot, delivering strong range with a punchier motor. DC charging peaks at 170 kW, taking around 28 minutes for a 10–80% fill. The VZ variant adds even more performance.
The interior is sportier than the ID.3 with better seats and materials, though it shares the same sometimes-frustrating touch controls. For drivers who want an engaging electric hatchback that's more exciting than a VW but less expensive than a BMW, the Born hits that mark well.
What the press thinks
The sporty alternative to the VW ID.3. Reviewers praise the sharper handling, distinctive design, and strong range from the larger battery. The shared MEB infotainment frustrations, firm ride on some surfaces, and brand awareness outside Spain are the common complaints.
