How to find these values on your Volkswagen

Wh/mi or Wh/km

On the infotainment screen, swipe to the "Driving Data" view or go to "Vehicle" → "e-Manager" → "Driving Data". Average consumption in kWh/100 km or Wh/mi is listed in the trip computer. On ID. models, it's also on the "Driving Data" card on the home screen.

Estimated Range

Estimated range is displayed on the instrument cluster (or ID. Cockpit) behind the steering wheel and in the "e-Manager" → "Range" section of the infotainment.

Battery Percentage

Battery percentage is shown on the instrument cluster next to the range figure and in the top status bar of the infotainment. On ID. models, it also appears on the ID. Light status bar.

About the Volkswagen e-Transporter Shuttle

The Volkswagen e-Transporter Shuttle is the passenger-focused variant of VW's new electric Transporter range, designed to carry up to nine people in a zero-emission package. Like the Kombi and panel van versions, it is built on the Ford Transit Custom platform through VW and Ford's strategic partnership.

The same 63.8 kWh NMC battery powers the Shuttle, delivering up to 215 miles of WLTP range. DC fast charging at 170 kW means a 10-80% charge takes approximately 28 minutes, making mid-journey stops manageable. The 218 bhp motor provides strong performance for a vehicle of this size, and the driving experience is notably car-like compared to previous Transporter generations.

The Shuttle's interior is configured primarily for passengers, with multiple rows of properly trimmed seats, improved soundproofing compared to the cargo variants, and finishing touches that bring it closer to an MPV experience. Sliding doors on both sides provide easy access, and the seating can typically be reconfigured or removed for flexibility.

The e-Transporter Shuttle succeeds the popular T6.1 Caravelle in VW's lineup and targets shuttle operators, hotels, and large families. It competes with the Mercedes-Benz eVito Tourer and the various Stellantis large electric MPVs, offering the combination of the VW badge and genuinely modern electric underpinnings.

What the press thinks

Early reviews praise the e-Transporter Shuttle's car-like driving manners and strong electric performance. The VW-Ford platform delivers better refinement than predecessors. Range when fully loaded is the main concern, along with a price premium over the Stellantis alternatives.
