About the Škoda Enyaq
The Škoda Enyaq is arguably the most practical car on the MEB platform — bigger than the VW ID.4, better value than the Audi Q4, and with the largest boot of the three. It embodies Škoda's 'Simply Clever' philosophy with thoughtful touches throughout.
The facelifted 2024 model brought improved range (up to 360 miles WLTP for the Coupé 85), faster charging at up to 175 kW, and a redesigned interior. Available in SUV and Coupé body styles, with the sporty vRS topping the range at 335 bhp with all-wheel drive.
The boot is class-leading at 585 litres, and rear legroom is generous. The ride is comfortable — slightly softer than the CUPRA Born, which suits the Enyaq's family-car character. It consistently appears near the top of owner satisfaction surveys in Europe. For families wanting a no-nonsense, spacious electric SUV without the VW or Audi price premium, the Enyaq is the smart choice.
What the press thinks
The sensible choice on the MEB platform — and that's a compliment. Reviewers praise the spacious interior, excellent practicality, and competitive pricing. The MEB platform's infotainment quirks and a driving experience that prioritises comfort over excitement are the usual caveats.
